Dr. Yuri Sato is the Executive Vice President of Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization since 2015. She graduated from Sophia University (Faculty of Foreign Studies) in 1981, completed the master course (Master of Economics), University of Indonesia in 1989, and completed the doctoral course (Doctor of Economics), University of Indonesia in 2001. She has long professional career related to development in Indonesia including as overseas research fellow in Jakarta for research of local large business in 1985-1987, overseas research fellow in Jakarta for research of inter-firm linkages between large and small-and-medium business in 1996-1999 and Special advisor for KADIN Indonesia in Jakarta, 2008-2010. Dr. Yuri Sato was the recepient of The 24th Grand Prix Asia Pacific Awards from the Asian Affairs Research Council, Japan in 2012. Her work is in the area of Economy, Industry and Business in Indonesia.
